Join our team as a Room Attendant at Residence Inn Wilmington Downtown!

We're searching for a dedicated Room Attendant who shares our passion for providing a pristine, comfortable environment. Whether you're tidying up after a busy event or assisting our Room Attendants, your work will leave a lasting impression on everyone who walks through our doors.
Your Role:
As a Room Attendant, you're the cornerstone of our hotel's warm and inviting atmosphere. Each day, you'll be the one ensuring our public spaces sparkle, that offices are spotless, and that guests are greeted with the highest standards of cleanliness. Some of your responsibilities include:
  • Clean and sanitize designated areas using the proper tools and chemicals. This includes ensuring no items are stored in stairwells, repositioning furniture to the correct layout, and checking for and removing debris.
  • Ability to clean up to 18 rooms max.
  • Prepare cleaning carts with the appropriate supplies and equipment, ensuring you're ready to tackle your assignments.
  • Keep our spaces safe and secure by safeguarding assigned keys, handling sensitive areas with care, and ensuring guest privacy.
  • Assist Room Attendants by stripping rooms and preparing them for the next guest, ensuring attention to detail every step of the way.
  • Inspect all furniture for damage such as rips, tears, or stains and report issues promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Prior cleaning experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
  • Extended stay experience.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
