As a Clinical Pharmacist you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members to improve health quality outcomes (i.e. medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). This is your opportunity to join a pharmacy team with a focus on clinical and business collaboration. You will find an incredible team culture that provides opportunities to learn and evolve every day.
If you reside within a commutable distance of Schaumburg, IL, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. You will need to be in the office monthly and will need to be in the office daily during the initial training period which should last 3 weeks.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform telephonic outreach to improve health quality outcomes
  • Optimize pharmacy therapy through additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies
  • Oversee pharmacy projects from inception to completion
  • Provide responses to drug information requests
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
  • Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
  • Coach, provide feedback, and guide others
  • Roles will improve CAHPs member experience results as measured by CAHPs scores which contribute to over 35% of Star Rating and Medication Adherence at 14%
  • Outbound calls to CAHPs detractors and Med Adh Members to improve member experience and reduce barriers to adherence drugs
  • Document and track member engagement

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Pharmacy
  • Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Illinois
  • 3+ years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist
  • 3+ years of patient consultation experience while working as a licensed pharmacist
  • Beginner level of proficiency navigating MS Office and Windows-based environment
  • Reside within a commutable distance of Schaumburg, IL

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pharm D
  • Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
