Work Environment

This remote position ensures that our licensed counselors can operate in a flexible work environment, allowing for work-life balance while still making a significant impact on clients' lives. Our collaborative team operates primarily in an outpatient psychiatry setting, where counselors have the opportunity to connect with a network of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration and comprehensive care. Some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate individual patient needs, with a standard work week from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique cultural and personal backgrounds, developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques that are adaptable to the diverse needs of individuals, families, and groups.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open communication and promote resilience among clients facing various mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to devise and execute integrated care strategies, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s health are addressed holistically.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, utilizing a calm and empathetic approach to stabilize situations.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
