In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work remotely, leveraging telehealth platforms to interact with clients from the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the symptoms, severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders for clients, ensuring clarity and focus on their unique circumstances.
• Collaborate closely with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster positive change and emotional growth.
• Educate patients and their families on mood disorders, treatment strategies, and effective self-care techniques, empowering them with knowledge.
• Monitor clients’ progress throughout the treatment journey, utilizing metrics to adjust therapeutic approaches as required to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and healthcare professionals through timely consultations to maintain holistic treatment for each client.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health, particularly related to mood disorders, to enhance clinical practice.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client sessions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily interact with clients grappling with various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related challenges. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in establishing rapport and trust, allowing clients to navigate their mental health issues effectively. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities suited for mood disorder management, including CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience.
