About Ernesta:

Ernesta is on a mission to bring gorgeous, design-focused custom rugs to homes and places of gathering through an enjoyable, frictionless, and affordable experience. At the same price as a store-bought standard-sized rug, a custom-cut rug from Ernesta will not only be a better fit, but also a better buying experience.  We believe that high-quality custom design shouldn't be out of reach for consumers and aim to address this need in the multi-billion dollar global rug industry.

Driven by our collective mission, our team is hungry, hardworking, and highly ambitious. We're problem solvers, innovators, design enthusiasts, and executors. We are relentlessly focused on creating and delivering beautiful and delightfully simple solutions and experiences for our customers. Together, we are excited and humbled by the opportunity to expand the market for custom rugs and allow more people to live in elevated design settings.  Put simply, we believe more soft surfaces mean happier homes.

About The Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of all equipment and systems at Ernesta's fabrication facility in Cartersville, GA. This is a hands-on role that keeps our production running smoothly and safely every day.  The maintenance supervisor will also be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and growing the maintenance technician position and any future positions assigned to the maintenance department

What You'll Do
  • Manage, implement, and delegate maintenance work order assignments accordingly.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all fabrication equipment, including air tables, serging machines, cut tables, and forklifts
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair compressed air systems, including lines, regulators, fittings, and pneumatic components throughout the facility
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize production downtime
  • Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and coordinate or perform scheduled service and safety checks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain cut tables and air table systems, ensuring proper airflow, surface integrity, and mechanical function
  • Service and troubleshoot serging machines, escalating to vendor support when needed and maintaining documentation of recurring issues
  • Identify and maintain an appropriate inventory of critical spare parts to support rapid repairs
  • Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and equipment manuals to diagnose root causes and guide repairs
  • Report equipment deficiencies, irregularities, and unsafe conditions promptly to management
  • Support facility improvement projects, including building out new structures or workstations as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
  • Attend training related to production, safety, and equipment for continued professional development
  • Work with Process Engineering to implement 5S and safety initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned by the management team of the facility
Key Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
  • Industrial millwright or electrician license a strong plus
  • Experience with pneumatic/compressed air systems required
  • Familiarity with forklift maintenance and safety inspection procedures
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot a wide range of equipment
  • Proven self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be directed
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production staff
  • Takes pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe workspace
