Hourly base pay rate is $26.73 - $40.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

If you are looking for a new place to call home, we would love to talk to you!TheMobile Trailer Technician II willbe responsible forperforming certified DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance inspections, light repairs, and other duties as assigned suchastrailer brakes, air lines, auxiliary pumps, and engines, liftgates, brake chambers, welding, fabrication, replacement of panels,bodyand framework.Work performed at the customer's site. The Mobile Trailer Technician II can perform more advanced repairs under the supervision of a Sr Mobile Trailer Technician or higher.The Mobile Trailer Technician II assists Sr Mobile Trailer Technician or higher Technicians with repairs and continues to learnadditionaladvanced mechanical skills.A successful Mobile Trailer Technician IIcomplies withall company policies and achieveshigh levelperformance metrics.
Document according to company standards and upload pictures of work performed, parts used, and all findingsobservedon Repair Orders ("RO") using company issued iOS device and our proprietary TRAIT application
Perform minor adjustment and repairs onvarious typesof trailers equipment and systems including, but not limited to the following: trailer brakes, air lines, auxiliarypumpsand engines, liftgates, and brake chambers
Work with and listen effectively to clients and customers to assess their needs,providinginformation orassistance,resolvingtheir problems, or satisfying their expectations.
Use hand tools, precision instruments, as well as Trailer tools, welding equipment, and jacks.
Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations,to includeOSHA, EPA, and DOT.
Diagnose, adjust, and perform repairs onvarious typesof trailer equipment, and systems including, but not limited to the following: trailer brakes, air lines, auxiliarypumpsand engines, liftgates, brake chambers, welding, fabrication, replacement of panels,body,and framework.
Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges.
Safe drivers needed; valid driver's licenserequired.Candidatemust hold a valid state-of-residence driver's license, be able to obtain andmaintaintheir Driver Qualification File.
CDL Class C Liscense is required
REQUIRED OR OBTAINED WITHIN 18 MONTHS
Knowledge of trailer parts and systems, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance, to make repairs or perform maintenance services.
Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk forlong periodsof time; ability to perform moderately heavy laboring work
Ability to communicate information (for example, facts, ideas, or messages) in a succinct and organized manner.Engages in effective two-way communication with individuals and groups.
