Role Overview:
As a Dockhand, you will be responsible for welcoming boaters & customers to the Nashville Riverfront, ensuring smooth dock operations, efficient boarding process and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position offers flexible part-time opportunities that require weekends and OR weekdays. This is a seasonal job with overtime hours available during the summer season and reduced hours during the winter months.ย 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Welcome and acknowledge all customers according to company standards.
  • Check-In Process: Assist guests with check-in using handheld devices, verify waivers, and check IDs (TABC certification required; bartending or bouncer experience is a plus).
  • Guest Support: Anticipate and address guest needs to ensure top-tier customer service.
  • Dock Operations: Assist the captain and crew with docking, disembarking passengers, and vessel turnover.
  • Marina Coordination: Help recreational boaters with docking locations using the DOCKWA app.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure the dock remains clean by removing waste and maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Communication & Safety: Maintain clear and professional communication with the customer service and management team while adhering to company policies.
Physical Demands: Work outside in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
