Job description

Looking for a skilled assembler for a local company in Orchard Park that specializes in recoil ad shock suppression products!!

1st shift hours

Pay varies based on experience - $22/hr

REQUIREMENTS:

-Must have 3+ years of detailed assembly experience - preferably mechanical or hydraulic assembly

-Must be able to read detailed working drawing and prints

-Experience using hand and power tools required. Experience troubleshooting testing equipment preferred but can be trained

-Quality or inspection experience with attention to detail preferred

-Must be ok with performing repetitive tasks and physical requirements of job - lifting up to 30 pounds, standing, bending, pushing, etc.

-Experience withing withing an ISO or quality managed environment preferred

-Must be reliable and have good work history

JOB DUTIES:

-Assemble products and subassemblies to the highest level of quality using hand and power tools, while deciphering working drawings.

-Perform in-process inspection of materials and components to assure conformance with specifications.

-Report any problems to operations or management to ensure quality; help develop processes as needed for new and existing products

-Work in a cooperative and communicative manner to meet individual and company objectives and to maximize productivity and efficiency.

-Test products or subassemblies for functionality and quality.

-Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices or products.

-Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.

-Set-up and operate equipment in accordance with cGMPs and SOPs.

-Assist engineers in developing, building or testing new products, processes or procedures.

-Calibrate and adjust equipment as needed - calipers, micrometers, ring gauges, height gauges, protractors, etc.

-Inspect finished products and keep production logs for records.

-Maintain inventory in stock room and work stations, prepare production documents and recordkeeping according to ISO9001 standards.

-Observe all EHS standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
