Job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate evening caregiver to assist an elderly couple in their home in Chuluota, FL. This role focuses on companionship, evening routine support, and light household tasks.

Client Details:

  • Husband (88) – ambulatory, has aphasia (difficulty speaking)
  • Wife (84) – ambulatory, mild short-term memory issues
  • Both clients can feed and bathe themselves
  • Family members live in the home but have limited availability to assist

Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and supervision during evening hours
  • Assist with redirection, especially with bedtime routine
  • Light housekeeping (e.g., cleaning dinner dishes, tidying kitchen)
  • Medication reminders
  • Ensure a calm and safe evening environment

Requirements:

  • Experience with dementia, memory care, or communication challenges (preferred)
  • Patient, attentive, and able to provide gentle redirection
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work evening shifts consistently

Additional Information:
