Exciting Opportunity at PRS Auto – Rail Terminal Vehicle Specialist:
Are you ready to jumpstart an exciting hands-on career in the rail industry? PRS Auto is hiring immediately for energetic individuals to drive brand-new automobiles off railcars at the bustling Norfolk Southern rail terminal in Ayer, Massachusetts!
This is an outstanding entry-level position where no prior experience is needed. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training and will teach you everything you need to succeed and thrive. If you are looking for a dynamic role with real growth potential, this is your chance to build a rewarding long-term career in rail operations.
We operate at multiple locations across the country and are committed to promoting talented team members as we grow. Many of our strongest performers advance quickly into leadership and specialized roles.

What You’ll Do:
You will play a key role in safely unloading shiny new vehicles from railcars and preparing them for delivery. Every day brings variety, teamwork, and the satisfaction of keeping the supply chain moving for America’s auto industry. You will work outdoors in a lively rail yard environment, staying active and engaged while mastering new skills.

Schedule & Pay:
This role typically starts on first shift, with flexible hours based on rail schedules. You must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Starting pay is a competitive $23 per hour, with weekly paychecks.

Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome applicants from warehouse, delivery driver, landscaping, outdoor work, or railyard backgrounds. This position is perfect for anyone who enjoys staying active and working with their hands.

Requirements:
  • Must currently live within a 45-minute commute of Ayer, MA (no relocation candidates, please). 
  • Valid driver’s license. 
  • Ability to pass a 7-year background check and drug screening. 
  • Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions. 
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds overhead and climb at various heights (no fear of heights). 
  • No high school diploma or GED required.
