IMMEDIATE OPENING FULL TIME POSITION
PULSED POWER ENGINEER

Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI) is an international leader in the design and manufacture of high power electrical equipment. Our exceptional engineers and scientists collaborate to develop the worlds most powerful radar transmitters, pulsed power units for state-of-the-art processing in food, energy and wastewater, and advanced R&D for national laboratories.


DTI seeks a Pulsed Power Engineer who is self-motivated, able to take a lead role as an active team player (i.e., think, calculate, design, build, test) in our state-of-the-art programs. DTIs work involves the design, fabrication, construction, installation and testing of specialized, high-power electrical equipment for industrial and government applications. Responsibilities:
Work with other engineers, technicians; apply engineering principles to design, fabricate, modify and evaluate radar transmitters, high-power modulators, and related electrical components and systems.
Prepare design plans and part specifications.
Conduct analyses and tests as needed to evaluate new designs, materials, and processes.
Design and implement automation for pulsed power and high-power microwave experiments.
Model pulsed power dynamics, resonant cavities, and microwave feed line interactions.
Work with limited supervision, routinely and capably engage independent work.
Provide recommendations as appropriate; offer feedback to managers and coworkers.
Review drawings, etc. prepared by technical support personnel.
Perform other tasks as instructed.


Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Three plus years experience as a Pulsed Power Engineer
Self-guided and active team player with a willingness to learn
Demonstrable analytical skills and hands-on aptitude
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to travel (domestic and abroad)
U.S. Citizen


Compensation:
Salary range $90,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
