Job description

You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist (Contracting Officer/Branch Lead) in the Operations and Execution Division, Contracts Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER Port Hueneme Division.Qualifications:In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional contracting specialist providing leadership and technical guidance in conducting pre-award (e.g. Requirements Definition, Solicitation Development, Negotiation, Protest Management and Award) and post-award (e.g. Contract Administration, Payment and Closeout) procurement functions to manage contract portfolios, optimize contracting strategies in alignment with customer requirements, and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition regulations for a warfare program.
