All About the Groundskeeper Role

The Groundskeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal of Belmont Park. From high-traffic walkways and attractions to landscaped areas and administrative offices, this position ensures both public and team member spaces reflect the pride and excellence of our brand.

Your Role at Belmont Park

As a Groundskeeper, you are an essential part of the park's daily operations. Your attention to detail, initiative, and consistency directly impact the guest experience. You help create an inviting and safe environment by maintaining both public-facing areas and behind-the-scenes administrative spaces.

What You'll Be Doing

Cleanliness & Appearance
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas including walkways, dining areas, attractions, restrooms, and landscaped spaces
  • Clean and maintain administrative offices, staff lounges, and storage areas, ensuring trash removal and tidy surfaces
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the park
  • Restock and maintain public and administrative restrooms to ensure cleanliness and full supplies
  • Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste
  • Clean windows, glass doors, and transparent surfaces to maintain a polished appearance
  • Clean drains, gutters, and outdoor maintenance areas to prevent blockages and maintain safety
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects during non-operational hours, including power washing and specialized cleaning tasks
Safety & Guest Experience
  • Respond promptly to spills, hazards, and cleanliness concerns to maintain a safe environment
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
