Construction Superintendent SERVPRO® of Belle Meade / West Nashville (Construction Division) Each SERVPRO® franchise is independently owned and operated.Why This Role ExistsWe are seeking a hands-on, jobsite-present Construction Superintendent to oversee an active construction project from start to finish. You will direct report to a SERVPRO® Construction Manager.This role requires consistent on-site leadership. You will be on-site daily, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality, running necessary errands, and keeping the project moving forward with clear structure and accountability.Candidates who are comfortable stepping into an active jobsite environment and leading with confidence will be successful in this role.Non-Negotiable QualificationOSHA 30 Certification - REQUIRED (Applications without OSHA 30 will not be considered.) What You'll Be Responsible ForJobsite Leadership & Daily OversightBe on-site every day overseeing construction activity and progressServe as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and vendorsMaintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization at all timesRun project-related errands as needed (materials, inspections, supplies)Construction ManagementCoordinate subcontractors and material deliveriesEnsure work is completed according to plans, specifications, scope, and local codesMaintain quality standards through daily site inspectionsValidate schedule, progress, and completion milestonesIdentify work that falls outside of contracted scope and flag appropriatelyExecute and document change orders when requiredCommunication & DocumentationProvide daily project updates to internal leadershipConduct pre-construction and progress check-ins as neededPerform final walkthroughs and assist with punch list resolutionSecure Certificates of Completion and Customer SatisfactionDocument project activity accurately and consistentlySubcontractor & Vendor CoordinationSet clear expectations with subs on a project-by-project basisEnsure subcontractors complete work per purchase ordersConfirm materials delivered match what was orderedCoordinate inspections with local jurisdictionsProvide feedback on subcontractor performanceWhat We're Looking ForRequiredOSHA 30 Certification (required)High school diploma or GEDProven construction or restoration jobsite supervision experienceStrong organizational and follow-through skillsAbility to manage multiple moving parts without losing your coolClear, professional communication skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationPreferred (Not Required)Familiarity with SERVPRO® construction processesPMP or similar project management backgroundWork Environment & Physical RequirementsDaily walking and standing on active construction sitesFrequent driving between jobsite, suppliers, and inspectionsOccasional ladder climbingExposure to weather, noise, and typical construction conditionsSchedule & DurationMonday-Friday (8am-5pm)Daytime hours with some flexibility based on jobsite needsLocal travel requiredCompensationHourly pay (commensurate with experience)Overtime may be available depending on project demandsThis role is intended for experienced, seasoned construction professionals who can step in and lead without training wheels
