Job description

Application deadline: Jul 28, 2026
At Amazon, we're not just broadcasting live sports-we're reinventing how the world engages with them. The Advertising in Live Events (ALE) team sits at the intersection of Amazon's premium sports content and our world-class advertising platform, where we move fast, build bold, and own outcomes end-to-end.
As a Senior Program Manager, you'll be the single-threaded owner of high-profile, complex live sports properties-driving strategy and execution that transforms advertiser outcomes and viewer experiences across global events. You'll own multi-year roadmaps, launch optimization, and continuous innovation, defining success metrics and unlocking growth opportunities that shape Amazon's role as the premier destination for live event advertising.
You'll lead through influence, partnering with senior leaders across Sales, Monetization, Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver flawless ad experiences for the most-watched events on the planet

Navigating ambiguity and resolving cross-organizational challenges, you'll drive alignment on initiatives impacting millions of concurrent viewers. Beyond your portfolio, you'll mentor peers, establish best practices, and champion systemic improvements that elevate the entire team.
Your work will directly shape advertiser ROI, viewer engagement, and Amazon's market leadership-owning business-critical launches with measurable revenue impact. If you're energized by complexity, thrive in ambiguous environments, and excel at influencing stakeholders, this is your chance to build legacy at the forefront of live sports advertising.
Key job responsibilities
Own end-to-end strategy and execution for a portfolio of high-profile live sports properties, including multi-year roadmap planning, launch coordination, optimization, and continuous innovation
Define success metrics, identify growth opportunities, and influence product and business strategy decisions across global live events
Partner with and influence senior leaders across Sales, Monetization, Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver exceptional ad experiences and resolve cross-organizational conflicts
Mentor and support other property managers by establishing best practices, scaling processes, and identifying systemic improvements that elevate team performance
Drive business-critical launches and initiatives that directly impact advertiser outcomes, viewer experiences, and Amazon's position in live sports advertising
A day in the life
As a Senior Program Manager, you'll blend strategic planning with hands-on execution across marquee sports properties

You might start your day collaborating with product and engineering teams to refine ad delivery systems for an upcoming event, ensuring millions of viewers experience seamless advertising experiences. Later, you'll meet with sales and monetization leaders to identify new revenue opportunities, then mentor junior managers on scaling best practices across the team. Throughout your day, you'll navigate cross-functional priorities, resolve organizational challenges, and drive alignment on initiatives that directly impact viewer engagement and advertiser success.

Beyond daily management, you'll champion systemic improvements that elevate how we approach live event advertising.
About the team
We are a fast-growing, cross-functional team responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of advertising across Amazon's live sports properties. Our team spans Property Management, Product, Go-to-Market, and Engineering, working together to deliver innovative ad experiences for advertisers and viewers alike. We are builders and owners-moving quickly, solving complex problems, and raising the bar on what live event advertising can be

You'll join a group committed to scaling and shaping the future of live sports advertising at Amazon, working alongside colleagues who are passionate about solving intricate challenges and delivering measurable impact.
