Overview
We are seeking a certified Pilates Reformer Instructor to lead small group and/or private reformer sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Pilates principles, confidence in teaching, safe and effective programming, and the ability to create a welcoming and motivating experience for participants of all levels.
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging and effective Pilates Reformer classes using Merrithew®/STOTT PILATES® methodology.
  • Offer modifications and progressions to accommodate a variety of fitness levels and needs, ensuring safety and proper alignment.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Build relationships with members and encourage continued participation and growth in the Pilates program.
  • Keep studio space organized, clean, and prepared for each class session.
  • Stay current with continuing education and best practices for Pilates instruction.

Qualifications
  • Current Pilates Reformer Certification, preferably Merrithew®/STOTT PILATES® or equivalent recognized program,
  • Experience teaching group Reformer classes and/or private sessions.
  • Strong verbal cueing, body awareness, and ability to lead safely and confidently.
  • Passion for movement, posture, alignment, and improving clients' wellbeing.
  • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
