Job description

This isn’t your average service bay job. It’s a front-row seat to America’s most exciting motorsports events — and a career built for the technician who craves movement, variety, and the pride of keeping the NASCAR and Supercross community rolling.

As a Mobile RV Service Technician with Campers Inn RV, you’ll travel to NASCAR and Supercross events for approximately 25 weeks per year — providing expert on-site RV service to owners and fans at venues across the country. You’ll be embedded in the action, trusted by the people who live the motorsports lifestyle, and backed by one of the most respected names in the RV industry.

Life on the Circuit

Forget punching in and staring at the same four walls. Your office changes every week. One weekend you’re in Daytona for a NASCAR race, the next in a Supercross arena city. You’ll work alongside passionate RV owners, fans, and motorsports enthusiasts — building relationships in a tight-knit community that welcomes the people who keep them moving.

If you love motorsports, the open road, and doing skilled work that genuinely matters to people — this role was made for you.

What Makes This Role Unique

  • On-Site Access at NASCAR & Supercross Events - Serve RV owners at the events you used to watch on TV. You’re not in the stands — you’re on the ground keeping the community rolling.
  • Premium Company Vehicle & Tools Provided - Everything you need is supplied. Show up ready to work; we handle the rest.
  • Structured Travel Schedule (~25 Weeks/Year) - Planned in advance, not unpredictable on-call chaos. You'll know where you're headed.
  • Tight-Knit Motorsports Community - The NASCAR and Supercross event world is a community unto itself. You’ll become a trusted, familiar face that owners and fans count on.
  • Real Variety of Work - Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, slide-outs — no two days are the same.
  • Competitive Pay + Performance Incentives - Compensation built around your experience and results, not a flat take-it-or-leave-it wage.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair RV systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, slide-outs, and leveling systems
  • Travel to NASCAR and Supercross events and provide expert on-site RV service to attendees and owners
  • Create accurate field estimates and manage work orders using mobile tools
  • Communicate clearly with customers about repairs, timelines, and costs
  • Collect payment, complete documentation, and close jobs professionally
  • Maintain your service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory
  • Follow all safety guidelines and DOT requirements

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of RV technician experience
  • Strong diagnostic skills across multiple RV systems
  • Comfort with a travel-heavy role (~25 weeks on the road per year)
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow
  • Solid communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Bonus points if you have:

  • RVTI certification
  • Prior mobile or field service experience
  • A passion for NASCAR, Supercross, or motorsports culture
  • Experience handling warranty work and customer payments

This Role Is Perfect For You If...

  • You'd rather see the country than the same parking lot every day
  • You take pride in owning your work from first wrench turn to final signature
  • You thrive working independently — no hand-holding, no micromanaging
  • You love the idea of becoming the go-to expert in a passionate, loyal community
  • You're ready for a career move that's genuinely different from anything else in the industry
