Familiarity with electronic health records, patient monitoring equipment, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification are typically required. What is a Live In Outpatient PACU RN?

A Live In Outpatient PACU RN is a Registered Nurse who provides care to patients recovering from anesthesia after outpatient (same-day) surgical procedures in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). They monitor patients' vital signs, manage pain, and ensure patients are stable before discharge.
