ARMStaffing is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurses (RNs) for travel assignments at top hospitals across the country. If you excel in post-op recovery care and are ready for your next adventure, we're ready to get you there.
Job Description:
As a Travel PACU RN, you'll care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. You'll monitor vital signs, manage pain and complications, and ensure safe, smooth transitions from surgery to discharge or inpatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assess post-anesthesia patients for pain, consciousness, and complications
  • Administer medications, including pain relief and IV fluids
  • Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and recovery staff
  • Educate patients and families on post-op instructions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to protocols
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred for pediatric PACU
  • Minimum 1 year of recent PACU, pre-op, or critical care experience
