Job description

About the Role:
Black Diamond of Cincinnati is looking for a skilled and motivated Nuisance Animal Control Operator to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. This is a hands-on, field-based role where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who loves working outdoors and solving real problems for real people. If you have a passion for wildlife and a knack for getting the job done safely and humanely, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to residential and commercial service calls for nuisance wildlife removal and control
  • Inspect properties to identify animal entry points, damage, and activity signs
  • Set, monitor, and retrieve humane traps for a variety of nuisance species
  • Perform exclusion work including sealing entry points and installing deterrents
  • Safely handle and relocate or dispatch captured animals in compliance with local and state regulations
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers on-site
  • Maintain accurate service records, equipment, and company vehicles
Requirements:
  • Experience in wildlife control, pest control, or a related field preferred
  • Ohio Nuisance Wild Animal Control Operator (NWACO) license or ability to obtain one
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and prioritize service calls
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor in varying weather conditions
