Position Overview
A professional single parent in Rockville is seeking a warm, engaging, and dependable Nanny to care for their curious and energetic toddler daughter during weekday afternoons and evenings. The family resides in a four level townhouse and also has two small Yorkshire Terriers.

The parent works from home in a highly demanding role and is seeking a trusted partner who will provide attentive care and meaningful engagement for their daughter after school. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about early childhood development while creating a safe, structured, and fun environment.

This role is best suited for a caregiver who genuinely enjoys supporting toddlers during these important developmental years and who values building a trusting, respectful relationship with both parent and child.

Key Responsibilities
Pick up child from school each weekday at 3:00 PM
Provide attentive care from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Support creative play, reading, and engaging developmental activities
Take child to the park or outdoor activities when appropriate
Assist with light end of day routines including washing up after school
Manage child related laundry approximately twice per week
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the child’s play areas and belongings
Encourage learning and curiosity through age appropriate activities
