A Live-In Nanny is a childcare provider who resides with the family they work for, offering full-time support in caring for children. Their responsibilities typically include feeding, bathing, engaging in educational activities, and assisting with household tasks related to the children. This arrangement often provides more flexibility for parents, as the nanny is available for early mornings, evenings, or emergencies. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a live in nanny?

To thrive as a Live In Nanny, you need childcare experience, basic first aid and CPR certification, and a proven ability to manage household routines. Familiarity with schedules, meal planning, and child safety protocols, as well as use of communication logs or childcare apps, is often required. These skills ensure children's well-being, seamless household operations, and trust between nanny and employer.

Since the beginning, we have dedicated all our energy into achieving the quality-of-life goals of our residents and their families. The small size of the buildings, intense emphasis on quality care, careful selection and continuous training of management as well as the staff, and its ongoing desire for residents and family feedback, are all features of Cottage Senior Living's philosophy - do the things that help residents maintain their independence, dignity, and choice.
If you have a passion for helping our older population live their best life, we want you to apply!
