The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Regrind, recondition, and manufacture cutting tools according to work instructions
  • Set up grinding equipment before beginning each work order
  • Grind tools to print and quality specifications
  • Inspect completed tools using prints and measuring equipment
  • Read blueprints and work order instructions
  • Return tooling to designated locations after each job
  • Report daily production updates to the Shop Supervisor
  • Help train new associates as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and additional shop projects
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

You'll work with equipment and tools such as:

  • CNC cutter grinding equipment
  • Precision grinding machinery
  • Blueprint documentation
