Position Summary:

Job Title: Marine Carpenter
Location: Holland, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm — no mandatory weekends

As a Marine Carpenter, you'll help bring the interior of each yacht to life with cabinetry, trim, and woodwork that reflect precision, elegance, and lasting craftsmanship. From galley cabinets to bedroom vanities and wall panels, your work helps define the comfort and beauty of every space onboard.

If you take pride in clean lines, precise cuts, and crafting something that will be admired for years to come, this is your calling.

What You’ll Do:

  • Cut, fit, and install wood components including trim, panels, cabinetry, and doors
  • Read blueprints, layout drawings, and work instructions to build according to spec
  • Use hand tools and woodworking machines to measure, saw, sand, and assemble parts
  • Fit and finish joinery with attention to symmetry, spacing, and surface quality
  • Ensure tight tolerances and smooth transitions between wood and other materials
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and uphold safety and quality standards

What It Takes:

  • Previous experience in finish carpentry, cabinet making, or woodworking
  • Ability to use woodworking tools such as table saws, routers, jigs, and hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and a pride in producing high-end craftsmanship
  • Comfort working with measuring tools, blueprints, and layout instructions
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces
  • Experience in marine, RV, or custom cabinetry work is a plus
