Job description

Role: M365 Engineer
Location: Pleasanton CA
Duration: Fulltime
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented M365 Engineer to maintain and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment. You will be the backbone of our daily IT operations, responsible for user management, system security, and ensuring our team can collaborate seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provision and de-provision user accounts, assign licenses (Word, Excel, Teams), and manage groups/roles in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD
  • Manage and configure core M365 services including Exchange Online (email/mail flow), SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Implement security best practices, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), password reset policies, and basic data protection protocols.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day user issues (e.g., login problems, email syncing, file access) and serve as the point of escalation for tier-1 helpdesk tickets.
  • Monitor system health, track M365 service outages, and manage support requests with Microsoft when needed
  • Seeking good experience in Scripting
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience administrating Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Exchange Admin Center, and basic identity management concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and a high degree of patience when assisting end-users.
