Their responsibilities typically include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with daily activities, and coordinating with doctors and family members. This role is ideal for patients who require ongoing supervision due to chronic illnesses, disabilities, or post-surgical recovery. Live-In LPNs offer both medical care and companionship, improving the patient's overall quality of life.

The structure often allows for a close caregiver-client relationship and a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in someone's daily life. It's important to discuss expectations, boundaries, and support resources with the employer to ensure your well-being and job satisfaction. This arrangement works well for nurses seeking a more personal, consistent care environment compared to shift-based facility roles.
