Overview

Our team of doctors, advanced care providers, nurses, therapists, and researchers provides the region's most advanced medicine at multiple facilities, campuses, clinics, and classrooms. We offer patients convenient access to innovative treatments and advancements that improve the health and overall well-being of our community.
Responsibilities
  • Receives verbal/written assignments from RN/board runner
  • Reports any changes in patient condition to RN
  • Cleans equipment between each patient use.
  • Operates unit equipment as required; runs unit errands as needed.
  • Position requires frequent standing and walking, as well as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling, along with occasional sitting and stooping/crouching.
  • Maintains clean and neat stocked areas
  • Keeps hallway clear of equipment.
  • Signs/initials documentation.
  • Reports any skin condition to RN.
  • Responds to overhead pages.
  • Participates in orientation of new employees as assigned.
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards.
  • Safely transports and assists with patient positioning under anesthesia under the direction of surgeon, and nursing staff.
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
  • Stocks supplies as needed
  • Adheres to sterile/aseptic technique
  • Cleans equipment, furniture, and OR suites in accordance with departmental, facility, and infection control policies.
  • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
  • Related duties as assigned
Additional Information
Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education. Required
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
  • Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
