Job description

Fireproofing Sprayer

As a Fireproofing Sprayer, you will be responsible for spraying fireproofing on beams, columns, and decks to the required thickness without excess and overspray. Your primary goal will be to ensure that properties are protected from severe damage and that businesses remain compliant with all safety requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate equipment such as fireproofing pumps, fiber pumps and Graco or Titan paint pumps
  • Spray fireproofing on beams, columns, and decks to the required thickness
  • Operate scissor lifts
  • Adhere to all OSHA standards
    Requirements:
  • Experience working on construction sites and a basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
  • Possess an OSHA10 card or be willing to obtain one
  • 2+ years' fireproofing, specialty coatings and/or blown insulation industry experience
  • Ability to set up hoses and pumps
  • Ability to assemble scaffold; ability to work off a ladder
  • Ability to operate scissor lifts/boom lift/forklifts and lull
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Punctual and consistent work attendance
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to communicate professionally; follow instructions and at times provide instruction
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment; stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time
