WHO ARE YOU?
Passionate and driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit. Resourceful, innovative, forward-thinking, and collaborative. At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you, please read on!
THE JOB
Live Nation's Media & Sponsorship division is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive the day-to-day execution and coordination of technical initiatives supporting the continued growth of the Setlist.fm platform. This role serves as the operational bridge between product leadership and external development partners, ensuring that roadmap priorities are translated into structured delivery plans and that multiple technical workstreams stay aligned and on track.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable operating in ambiguity, and effective at communicating across technical and non-technical audiences. This role partners closely with the Product Owner, Project Manager, and external engineering vendors in a small, fast-moving team environment where flexibility and self-direction are essential.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Drive day-to-day technical execution and delivery coordination for the Setlist.fm platform, including feature development, site improvements, and bug resolution across external vendor teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the external development team, managing priorities, clarifying technical requirements, and ensuring consistent delivery against roadmap goals.
  • Translate product and business requirements into well-scoped technical tasks, milestones, statements of work, and delivery plans in close partnership with product leadership.
  • Coordinate and manage additional technical vendors and contractors across related initiatives such as data infrastructure, reporting dashboards, and web development projects.
  • Maintain visibility into timelines, risks, dependencies, and quality standards across all technical workstreams, proactively flagging issues and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce friction between teams, and strengthen delivery practices across the program.
  • Support platform stability and performance by surfacing technical gaps, tracking resolution of bugs and maintenance items, and ensuring quality standards are met prior to release.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • 6+ years of experience in technical program management, technical project management, or a similar delivery-focused role supporting digital product and engineering initiatives for consumer-facing web platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of modern web technologies, development workflows, and software delivery lifecycles - enough to engage credibly with engineering teams without necessarily writing code day-to-day.
  • Proven experience managing execution through external engineering teams, agencies, vendors, or technical contractors, including experience developing statements of work and vendor deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into structured execution plans and manage multiple parallel workstreams across distributed teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge product, business, and technical audiences - translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities and a degree of ambiguity.
  • Self-starter who thrives with limited direction and can proactively identify what needs to happen next without waiting to be told.
  • Familiarity with web-focused technologies (Python, JavaScript/front-end frameworks) is a plus but not required.
  • Passion for live music and familiarity with the concert experience is a meaningful plus - understanding what a setlist is and why fans care about it goes a long way on this team.

Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
