A Live In Lighthouse Keeper is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the lighthouse’s lights and navigational aids, ensuring all systems function correctly and performing routine maintenance on equipment and the facility. Daily tasks may include recording weather conditions, communicating with nearby vessels or coastguards, and conducting safety checks and minor repairs. In addition, keepers often manage logbooks and may be involved in groundskeeping or minor administrative duties. Due to the remote nature of the position, self-organization and proactive problem-solving are essential to handle unexpected issues efficiently.
A Live In Lighthouse Keeper is responsible for maintaining and overseeing the operation of a lighthouse while residing on-site. The family is looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive candidate who takes pride in maintaining a clean, well-run household while providing occasional family assistant support. This is a long-term opportunity with a warm family offering a positive work environment and excellent benefits.
