Job description

Location: San Francisco, New York (in-person)

Reports to: Head of Sales

Type: Full-time, founding team

About Lighthouse

Lighthouse is the fastest immigration solution for frontier companies. We start where the stakes are highest — U.S. employment-based immigration for the companies building frontier AI and hard tech. Our customers include Cursor, Thinking Machines, Exa, Ramp, MatX, and Atomic Semi.

The role

We’re looking for a Growth Lead to join Lighthouse. This is a founding GTM role: you’ll be the person who takes us from early traction to a repeatable, scalable go-to-market engine.

You’ll own the full demand generation motion: pipeline generation, outbound strategy, conversion optimization, and the systems and tooling that make it all work at scale. This is a hands‑on growth role for someone who is equal parts storyteller and operator. You know how to uncover a compelling customer insight, turn it into a story or campaign, get it in front of the right audience, and measure whether it created meaningful demand.

What you’ll do
  • Build our demand‑generation engine. Own the strategy and execution across account‑based marketing, outbound, referrals, events, partnerships, and other channels that create qualified demand.

  • Make Lighthouse a category‑defining brand. Develop the narratives, content, founder and customer stories, and campaigns that make Lighthouse the company technology leaders think of when they think about immigration.

  • Own who we reach and how we reach them. Develop our segmentation, account strategy, and outbound messaging, continuously testing new ways to reach the companies and people that matter most.

  • Turn company and customer insights into growth. Build tight feedback loops with Sales, Customer Experience, Legal, and Product to uncover what resonates with customers and translate those insights into better stories, campaigns, and programs.

  • Find what works and scale it. Experiment with new channels and ideas, measure their impact on qualified demand and pipeline, and build repeatable programs around the ones that work.

You might be a strong fit if
  • You have demonstrated experience in growth or demand generation, ideally at an early‑stage or high‑growth B2B technology company, and have built programs from scratch.

  • You’re an exceptional storyteller with examples of turning customer insights, market trends, or product capabilities into content and campaigns that created demand and strengthened a brand. Bonus points if you have a genuine curiosity about founders and the startup ecosystem.

  • You’ve built creative, account‑based growth programs across channels like outbound, content, referrals, events, partnerships, and community.

  • You’re analytical and experimental. You know how to test ideas, understand what’s driving qualified demand and pipeline, and scale what works.

  • You’re a deeply cross‑functional operator who works closely with Sales and pulls insights from customers, Product, and customer‑facing teams to sharpen ICP, messaging, and growth strategy.

We do not expect candidates to have a legal or immigration background. What matters is proven GTM execution at a high‑growth startup and the drive to build something from the ground up.

What success looks like
  • Your first 30 days: The outbound stack is live, the first signal‑based sequences are in market, and you've sourced the first qualified opportunities outside inbound and referral.

  • 6 months: Created demand is a measurable, growing share of pipeline with a known CAC and a clear read on which channels to scale.

  • 12 months: Demand creation is a predictable, forecastable engine, and you're hiring a team.

Culture
  • Lighthouse is a technology‑led company. We frequently ask ourselves “How can we automate this?”

  • We’re intentionally meeting‑light and work in weekly sprints. We entrust you to manage your time.

  • We are and seek low‑ego, high‑throughput people who are a pleasure to be around.

  • We pride ourselves on attention to detail and ability to do “finished work” — whether it’s a project, document, or code, you proofread and make it letter perfect

  • We ask “why?” every day. We’re constantly making improvements to our processes and encouraging feedback.

  • Genuine interest in startups, technology, and enabling global talent to build in the U.S.

Pay and Benefits
  • We sponsor visas, obviously.

  • Competitive base and equity, scales with experience.

  • Health, dental, vision, 401k.

  • Equipment/office stipend.

  • Annual team off‑sites in cool places.

  • In person in SF or NY.

Lighthouse is an equal opportunity workplace; we welcome people from all backgrounds, communities, and experiences.
