Job description

Machine Operator

Mechanically inclined individual needed to learn the mechanics of setting-up and maintaining packaging lines. Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining equipment, plumbing and electrical work.

Shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:30 P.M. - 2:00 A.M.

Skills:

Possesses excellent written/verbal skills. Is effective managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring a high degree of initiative and an ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required. 1-3 years of experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing of oral solid dosage products in a GMP environment.

In depth, hands-on experience with the following equipment desired: Bosch 1500, Bosh GKF 400, and Semi-Encapsulator CFSA02, tablet compression machines Stokes Model 515 DS3, Auger Filler and controls systems associated with these equipment trains.

This person must be able to maintain equipment following appropriate SOP's in place; capacity to record and maintain good records of in-process checks; familiar with machine operations procedures and troubleshooting of assigned equipment.
