Job description

Description
The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia is seeking applicants for a Clinical Instructor in our General Otolaryngology division. The successful candidate will provide patient care at the UVA Hospitals and Outpatient Clinics. This position will also cover all inpatient day consults.
The University of Virginia is located in Charlottesville, a setting with natural beauty and significant historical relevance in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Charlottesville is a wonderful place to live with an extraordinary quality of life and is often ranked among the best places to live in the United States.
The selected applicant will be required to complete a background check, drug screen, and health assessment prior to their first day of employment per University policy.

Qualifications
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree, and be board-certified or board-eligible (includes on the specially qualified pathway) in Otolaryngology at the time of hire.
