The General Manager Trainee role is designed to prepare high-potential leaders for future General Manager and operational leadership opportunities across our national network.

Why You'll Love Working Here

At Ferrellgas, we're committed to supporting our team with benefits that promote health, financial security, and personal growth:

  • Employee Perks: Referral program, employee discount programs, and propane savings
Responsibilities
  • Learn all aspects of propane operations, logistics, safety, customer service, and business management
  • Partner with experienced leaders to drive operational performance and team success
  • Develop leadership skills through hands-on training, coaching, and real-world business experience
  • Support sales growth, operational efficiency, and customer retention initiatives
  • Gain exposure to budgeting, KPIs, workforce leadership, and P&L management
  • Prepare for future General Manager opportunities within the company
Qualifications
  • Willingness to relocate after approximately 12 months in the development program is required
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Growth-minded, adaptable, and motivated to learn quickly
  • Operational, logistics, transportation, service, or related leadership experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
