TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine (EM) physician or family medicine (FM) physician with EM experience to join our emergency department (ED) at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Illinois. Alton Memorial Hospital is a JCAHO-accredited, full-service, acute-care hospital serving the River Bend area of southwestern Illinois, minutes away from St. Louis, Missouri.

Competitive compensation with a base salary of $300/hour to $316/hour. This position will be independent contractor (1099) status and includes paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage.

Facility Description
Alton Memorial Hospital is a full-service hospital serving the River Bend area of southwestern Illinois minutes away from St. Louis, Missouri. The hospital offers a wide range of healthcare services including state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional imaging, as well as neurology services and the most technologically advanced medical and radiation oncology in the market. Alton Memorial has a complete surgery center utilized by specialists in pain management, orthopedics, sports medicine, OB/Gyn, urology, otolaryngology, general surgery and plastic surgery. Other areas within the hospital include an intensive care unit, a wound care center with hyperbaric chambers, inpatient and outpatient senior psychology units and a women's health and childbirth center. Affiliated with BJC HealthCare, Alton Memorial is recognized for its cardiac care, orthopedic surgery, oncology services, women's health services, outpatient surgery and testing, gastroenterology, pain management and sports medicine.
