Job description

Human Resource Coordinator

Supports the Human Resources department for The New Day Healthcare company, Heritage Healthcare Services in New Mexico as needed by maintaining personnel files, performing background checks, data entry, verifications of employment, reference checks, filing for active and terminated employees, assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees, policy communications, mailings, training assistance and special projects as needed.

Status: Full Time, On Site, M-F, 8-5

Responsibilities
  • Represents the HR department in a courteous and professional manner
  • Monthly audits, Verification of Employment, Applicant Reference Checks
  • Policy Communication
  • Data entry of employee requirements
  • Filing HR related documents as directed by leadership
  • Maintains supplies for HR department as assigned
  • Assists with maintenance of personnel and applicant files in accordance with New Day HealthCare record keeping standards as directed
  • Assist with processing requirement reports and employee document mailings
  • Assist Operations department as needed
  • Assist with order placement & supply processing & manuals as directed
  • Provides assistance with HR projects as directed
  • Provides all support to the HR department as directed by HR Management
  • Performs other related/administrative duties as directed by Management
Requirements
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older (per state guidelines)
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred Human Resources)
  • Must live in Albuquerque,
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment.
  • Must exhibit a high degree of attention to detail and time management with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
