Job description

About Us
Renewed Horizons is a Regional Center–vendored agency providing Independent Living Skills (ILS) and Supported Living Services (SLS) to adults with developmental disabilities across the Westside of Los Angeles. Our mission is to empower individuals to live independently, build meaningful community connections, and reach their personal goals through compassionate, person-centered support.
We're looking for reliable, patient, and motivated Client Enrichment Professionals (CEPs) to work 1:1 with participants in their homes and communities, helping them build the skills and confidence to live as independently as possible.
Position Summary
As a CEP, you'll provide individualized, in home and community-based support to help participants strengthen daily living skills, build independence, and engage more fully with their communities. This is a person-centered role you'll be a consistent, encouraging presence helping someone work toward their own goals, not just completing tasks for them.
Duties
•     Provide direct 1:1 support in the participant's home and community settings
•     Teach and reinforce independent living skills: budgeting, meal prep, household management, hygiene, and personal care routines
•     Support social, recreational, and community integration goals
•     Encourage independence, decision-making, and self-advocacy
•     Transport participants safely to appointments and community activities as needed
•     Complete accurate, timely service notes and required documentation
•     Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and participant dignity at all times
•     Follow all Title 17, Regional Center, and agency guidelines
•     Track and report on participant progress to inform service plans
•     Collaborate with the Program Director, Service Coordinators, and families to ensure support plans are followed

Requirements
•     Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
•     Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional demeanor
•     Strong written and verbal communication skills
•     Reliable transportation, valid California driver's license, and proof of insurance
•     Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•     Must pass DOJ Livescan clearance
•     Clean driving record
•     Flexibility to work some evenings or weekends as needed
Preferred Experience
•     Experience with Regional Center–funded services (ILS, SLS)
•     Background in special education, behavioral health, or home and community-based care
•     Familiarity with person-centered planning practices
Why Join Renewed Horizons?
•     Supportive, mission-driven team
•     Meaningful, relationship-based work
•     Direct, lasting impact on someone's independence and quality of life
•     Room to grow within the agency
