About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is looking for a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to join their team in San Diego, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes. If you have a passion for helping others and a heart for caregiving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety
  • Administer medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
  • Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
  • Document and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate supervisor

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with transfers
