As an Auto Mechanic at Autoplex Auto Service, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Repair or replace worn or defective parts such as brakes, engines, and transmissions.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and suggest corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and costs.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and comply with safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as an auto mechanic or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of diverse vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment and computerized tools to troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with technical expertise.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in automotive repair is preferred.
