What You’ll Do and Who You Are:

While you shouldn't be spending anymore than 20% of your work shift doing household work, this is what you can expect to do in a clients home - (but is not limited to) vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.

You establish “partner” relationships with the client by providing companionship during activities such as accompanying client on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, and assistance with hobbies like board games, puzzles, music, etc.

You don’t have to be a gourmet chef, but you can prepare a good meal, work your way around a kitchen, and run to the grocery store, if needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be available from 7pm-7am on weekdays and weekends for any available shifts within this time frame

  • 18 years or older

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate

  • Possess a valid driver’s license

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.

  • Pass Background check

  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.

  • CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

  • Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
