Job description

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper / Family Assistant to oversee and maintain a high-end home in Pinecrest, Florida.
The household is a busy family with three young children, ages 3, 5, and 6. Mom is home full-time. This is not a primary nanny position; the dedicated professional's primary focus is managing, cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the residence to a 5-star hotel standard.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working for high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, or executives in large private estates. The candidate should be warm, trustworthy, highly professional, discreet, and comfortable stepping in to assist with the children as a secondary responsibility when an extra pair of hands is needed.
This is a busy household, so the family is looking for someone who is proactive, efficient, and able to keep things moving while still maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with flexibility as needed.
(The family is looking for someone who can be flexible with the schedule, including occasional later evenings, approximately 1-2 times per week. The family is also flexible with adjusting start times when later hours are needed. Early-morning school assistance is generally not required).
Live-In / Overnight Accommodation Available
For candidates who prefer to avoid a long commute, there is also the option to live in during the work week. A beautiful private room with an ensuite bathroom is available on the first floor.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Estate Management - Primary Focus (80%)
  • Full Interior Care: Perform daily, weekly, and deep cleaning to keep an 8,000+ sq. ft. residence immaculate and guest-ready at all times.
  • Laundry & Wardrobe Care: Wash, iron, steam, and properly care for everyday clothing, fine linens, and delicate garments. Maintain organized closets.
  • Bedding: Make beds daily and change linens regularly.
  • Organization: Maintain high standards of organization throughout all rooms, closets, play areas, and the pantry.
  • Pantry & Grocery Management: Track household inventory, restock supplies, manage grocery orders and grocery runs, and ensure the kitchen and pantry remain clean and fully stocked.
  • Vendor & Delivery Coordination: Receive packages and deliveries, oversee service contractors such as maintenance, landscaping, and pool care, and ensure household repairs are handled efficiently.
  • Meal Prep: Provide light food preparation or basic meal assembly when requested, such as cutting fresh fruit, prep work for family dinners, or simple lunches.

Childcare & Family Support - Secondary Focus ( 20%)
  • Mother's Helper Duties: Provide occasional assistance to the stay-at-home mother during busy transitions, including mealtimes and routine shifts.
  • Babysitting: Provide occasional supervision for the children during date nights, staying later as necessary, weekend errands, or family events.
  • Safety & Pool Supervision: Strong swimming skills are required to safely monitor children near or in the pool during family outdoor time.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications
  • Relevant Experience: Prior experience in a high-end private home of 8,000+ sq. ft., working for executives, entrepreneurs, or high-net-worth families.
  • Proven Track Record: Excellent references demonstrating long tenure with previous employers, high integrity, discretion, and reliability.
  • Swimming Ability: Must be a confident swimmer; this is mandatory due to the on-site pool.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. No child transport is required, but driving is necessary for household errands and groceries.
  • Child-Friendly Demeanor: Warm, patient, and engaging personality around young children.
  • Proactive Mindset: A self-starter who notices what needs to be done without constant direction and takes pride in maintaining a meticulous home.
  • Screening: Must pass a thorough background check, drug screening, and reference check.

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 annual gross salary, depending on experience.
Start Date: ASAP
