Job Overview

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate, dependable Live-In Caregiver to provide ongoing care for an elderly male client in Corpus christi, TX. We are looking for someone who is able to live in the client's home and provide daily support while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.

The client uses a wheelchair, she cannot ambulate independently, has no memory impairments, and enjoys a consistent daily routine. Your role will be to ensure his safety, dignity, and overall well-being while assisting with his personal care and daily needs.

Position Details

  • Live-in position (caregiver will reside in the client's home)

  • Private living accommodations provided

  • Additional time off and schedule details will be discussed during the interview

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide full transfer assistance

  • Assist with urinal use and brief/incontinence changes

  • Assist with bathing (shower chair and handheld shower available)

  • Help with daily personal care routines

  • Light housekeeping, including laundry and tidying up

  • Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Coordinate care with the hospice team as needed

  • Monitor the client's comfort and safety throughout the day

Requirements

  • CNA certification preferred; relevant caregiving experience required

  • Experience working alongside hospice teams is a plus

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Ability to live in the client's home and provide consistent care

  • Ability to pass a national background check and drug screening

  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
