The Live In Hearse Driver primarily focuses on transporting the deceased in a hearse, requiring a valid driver's license and vehicle operation skills. In contrast, a Funeral Director handles the overall funeral planning, client support, and administrative duties, often requiring specialized certifications. While both roles are essential in the funeral industry, they differ significantly in responsibilities and work environment.

How do I become a live in hearse driver?

To become a live-in hearse driver, you typically need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience driving large vehicles such as hearses or limousines. Some employers may require a commercial driver's license (CDL) and background checks, as well as good customer service skills and the ability to handle emotional situations. Training is often provided on the job, and familiarity with funeral service protocols can be beneficial.
