Job description

Description
The Reed College Psychology Department seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position in HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY to begin August 2027. We welcome applications from candidates who study the psychological science of health and well-being, including but not limited to biological bases of behavior (e.g., psychophysiology), affective science, stress and resilience, and health disparities. The selected individual will teach four courses per year, two each semester. These courses will include a team-taught introductory psychology course with lab, health psychology with lab, and courses in the candidate's area of expertise. The individual will also join our statistics teaching rotation, supervise multiple year-long senior thesis projects in psychology and neuroscience, and serve as an academic advisor.
