Chapel Hills/Mirror Lake is hiring for a Handyman. The Handyman is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of facilities at both Mirror Lake Golf Club and Chapel Hills Golf Club. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, functional, and professional environment for members, guests, and employees. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and experienced in a variety of maintenance trades.

 Primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs to buildings, grounds, and club facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and other maintenance-related issues.
  • Install and replace fixtures, including light fixtures, ceiling fans, faucets, appliances, and other building components.
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment and facility downtime.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize work efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding maintenance needs and project status.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support club operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a similar facilities maintenance role is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general building maintenance.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing quality workmanship.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
