Job description

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to support mission-critical logistics, sustainment, operational, facilities, training, and mission-enabling activities in support of U.S. Government and Department of Defense objectives throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Personnel in this role contribute to the planning, coordination, execution, and sustainment of complex operations in dynamic and geographically dispersed environments. The position supports operational readiness, resource integration, mission effectiveness, and stakeholder collaboration while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and security requirements. Duties are performed in support of contingency, expeditionary, and steady-state operations and may require coordination with Government personnel, mission partners, and cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.

Position Overview/Functional Role:

This role supports deployed units through movement, deployment support, life support, facilities, and host-nation support activities. Coordinates logistics requirements for forces operating in forward environments. Tracks availability of services and resources affecting deployed operations. Resolves issues impacting sustainment and support delivery. Aligns forward logistics actions with mission priorities and timelines. Maintains communication with logistics, facilities, and operational teams. Documents deployed support activities and requirements. Ensures sustained logistics support for forward mission execution.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The job duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work at various sites, both CONUS and OCONUS, with travel as required.
  • Perform duties associated with the assigned functional role.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skill Level Requirements - Journeyman

  • 3-10 years experience
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
