Reporting to the AVP, Foreclosure, this position is responsible for driving the execution of foreclosure processes without direct team management responsibilities. This role oversees and optimizes foreclosure workflows, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. This position collaborates with internal teams, coordinates with legal partners and actively contributes to process improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for managing a more advanced and complex portfolio of loans in various stages of the foreclosure process, while ensuring all foreclosure processes are in compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
The Lead Foreclosure Specialist serves as a subject matter expert, handling escalated cases and providing training and guidance to junior team members. Additionally, this position works alongside cross-functional teams to address issues, provide updates and ensure all aspects of the foreclosure process are handled efficiently.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/ GED)
- 4+ years' experience in Default Servicing roles required; includes working knowledge of foreclosure laws and terminology
- 4+ years' experience in the mortgage servicing industry
- 4+ years' experience in foreclosure; including managing complex cases and working with judicial and non-judicial assigned counsel
- 3+ years' experience working in a fast-paced work environment
- Analytical skills to distribute and allocate resources
- MSP experience preferred
- Solid skills and experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and effectively lead discussions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to explain decisions and the reasons why to promote understanding and buy-in with others

Compensation
- The hiring range for this position is between $27.16-$30.48 an hour
- This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
