Job description

ALEXANDRIA, VA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A busy, active family in Alexandria, Virginia is seeking an experienced, professional, and organized full-time live-out Nanny/House Manager for a long-term placement. Both parents work demanding careers and are looking for someone with a self-starter mindset, genuine foresight, and the kind of calm, proactive energy that keeps a household running smoothly.

The role is a true blend of childcare and household management across multiple school-aged children, and the family needs someone who sees both as equally core to their responsibilities. College education is strongly preferred. Spanish fluency is a meaningful plus.

The position runs Monday through Friday with 45 guaranteed hours per week. Specific hours and schedule details will be shared upon interview. The ideal candidate is discreet, professionally boundaried, highly organized, and experienced in high-functioning executive households. Previous experience in a combined nanny and house manager capacity is strongly preferred.

Discretion and confidentiality are paramount. Candidates should be open to signing an NDA. An annual flu vaccination is required. Family vehicles are provided for all work-related transportation.

Benefits include paid sick days, paid holidays, and paid vacation. Compensation is $30-35+/hr gross per hour, commensurate with experience, paid biweekly via payroll. Target start date is August 2026.
