As of Jul 16, 2026, the average hourly pay for live in first fix in Phoenix, AZ is $22.83, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $18.37 and $25.77 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

A Live In First Fix role typically involves skilled labor such as carpentry or construction work, which can pay around $4,000 weekly for experienced workers, especially those with specialized skills or working in high-demand environments. These jobs often require physical ability, on-the-job training, and sometimes certifications but do not necessarily require a college degree.

How to make 2000 a week working from home?

A Live In First Fix role typically involves on-site work, so earning $2000 weekly from home may require transitioning to remote positions in related fields such as remote technical support, consulting, or freelance trades. Success depends on skills, experience, and the ability to secure high-paying contracts or clients, often supplemented by certifications or specialized knowledge.

What's a good job for overthinkers?

A Live In First Fix role involves on-site maintenance or repair work, often requiring attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Overthinkers may excel in such positions due to the need for careful assessment, planning, and execution of tasks, especially when working independently or in a structured environment. This job typically requires technical knowledge, physical stamina, and the ability to follow safety protocols.

How to make $10,000 a month without a degree?

A Live In First Fix role can potentially earn high income through skilled trades, such as plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry, especially with experience and certifications. Senior Care, Only Better.

In-Home Caregiver

Sun City West • Surprise • Northwest Valley  |  $17–$18 / Hour, Based on Experience

Do you have a heart for seniors? Do you believe everyone deserves to age with dignity in the home they love? We’d love for you to join our family.

Senior Helpers® of Sun City West-Surprise is a new, locally-owned home care agency serving seniors and their families across Sun City West, Surprise, and the surrounding communities. We are part of the nationally recognized Senior Helpers® brand — with decades of experience and a proven system of care — backed by local ownership that is personally invested in this community.

Our mission: keep those you love safe, comfortable, and independent at home — and give their families peace of mind. We hand-pick caregivers who don’t just provide care, but who truly serve and love the people in their charge.

About the Role

As an In-Home Caregiver with Senior Helpers of Sun City West-Surprise, you will be the trusted, consistent presence in a client’s daily life — providing companionship, personal care, and recovery support so they can remain safely and happily at home.

Important: This is not a live-in position. We offer daytime, evening, and overnight shifts. Caregivers on overnight shifts are expected to remain awake and alert throughout.

What We Offer You

$17–$18/Hour, DOE

Competitive Pay, Based on Experience

Holiday Premium Pay

1.5x on 7 Holidays + Your Birthday

Overtime Eligible

1.5x for 40+ hours/week

  • Paid Sick Time (PST): Accrues at 1 hour per 30 hours worked for all employees, eligible to use after 90 days — per Arizona law.

  • Mileage Reimbursement: Reimbursed at the standard IRS rate for approved business driving between client locations.

  • Holiday Premium Pay: Earn 1.5x your rate on New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve — and your own birthday.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Days, evenings, and overnights available. We work to match shifts to your life.

  • Senior Helpers® Training: Paid world-class caregiver training including specialized programs for Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, and recovery care. Grow your skills.

  • One-on-One Client Matching: You’re hand-matched to clients whose needs align with your strengths — building real relationships, not rushing between rooms.

  • Responsive Office Support: Our Care Coordinator is a phone call away. You are never alone on an assignment.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities vary by client and care plan but may include:

  • Companionship, conversation & emotional support

  • Light housekeeping & household management

  • Meal planning & preparation

  • Laundry and linen care

  • Errands and transportation (client’s or your own vehicle)

  • Medication reminders

  • Walking & mobility assistance

  • Document care activities in the client’s Care Plan Book daily

  • Report significant client changes to the office promptly

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Genuine compassion for seniors and a desire to make a positive difference

  • Ability to treat every client with dignity, respect, and patience

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional — your client counts on you

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a conversational adult level

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and current auto insurance

  • Reliable personal vehicle available for use during assignments

  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment

  • Pre-employment TB screening required as a condition of hire

  • Flexible and adaptable — willing to work a variety of shifts and days, including evenings and overnights

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States

Preferred — but not required (we will train the right person):

  • Prior caregiving experience — professional or personal (including caring for a family member)

  • Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, or memory care

  • CPR/First Aid certification (required within 90 days of hire if not already held)

  • Comfort with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role. You should be able to:

  • Safely lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (e.g., a wheelchair or walker into/out of a vehicle)

  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or push/pull throughout a shift

  • Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living

  • Climb stairs multiple times during a shift as needed

  • Remain awake, seated, and alert during overnight shifts

  • See clearly (with or without correction) to monitor client safety

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
