Job description

Dream is looking for a Site Labourer!

Dream Income Properties division is always looking for the best and brightest to join its thriving team. Dream's Income Properties team is growing and is currently looking for Site Labourer who will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day construction operations and maintenance of our construction sites.

What will you do?

We believe we are only as good as the last project we build. This role will require participation in our commercial construction and residential projects. Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role:

  • Perform site construction tasks;
  • Ensure our commercial projects and homes are ready for the trades as the build schedule progresses;
  • Ensure our job sites are accessible and safe at all times with the goal of preventing injuries and eliminating hazards for our trade partners and employees;
  • Collect and dispose of construction waste and recycle materials where applicable;
  • Loading and unloading of construction material;
  • Perform paperwork or administration activities related to job sites in a timely manner;
  • Understand and implement OH&S safety requirements to ensure we are a leader in safe work practices; and
  • Other duties and projects as required.

What type of experience is required?

These are just the basic things we'd like you to bring to the table:

  • 2+ years' of construction related experience, commercial and residential experience is preferred;
  • High School Diploma, completion of Trade School with focus on construction would be an asset;
  • Ability to operate a skidsteer and telehandler is an asset;
  • We expect you to be proactive and have creative problem solving skills; and
  • You have a valid driver's license and a vehicle to prove it.
